The event was part of a series of videos directed at those who are responsible for marketing a resort property or timeshare-oriented business. Most are likely to be grappling with trying to operate within a constrained budget and with very limited time and manpower.

“We had at least 25 ‘ah-hah moments’ about how to get the most out of your online marketing, even with limited resources,” says Wilson. “Our speaker, Kelley Ellert. is a marketing consultant and strategist who gained her resort experience after working for several years for a major management company.”

During the event, Ellert shared a few pointers from her Resort Trades article, which will  appear shortly in the June 2023 edition, as well as online.

Kelley has been on the Learning Channel several times to discuss digital marketing and social media strategy. She was an early adopter of Influencer Marketing, as she discussed in a Resort Trades YouTube video: “Influencer #Marketing is the New Social Wave.” Her articles appear frequently in Resort Trades magazine, including in the May 2023 issue when she wrote, “Pinterest: The Ultimate Online Destination for Hospitality Companies to Thrive.”

Registrants who are unable to attend the free live, interactive, interview will be sent a link to the YouTube video at a later date, as well as to Ellert’s article on the topic due to appear in the June 2023 edition of Resort Trades magazine.
