The Inn & Club at Harbour Town Ranks As One of Country’s Top Hotels

The Sea Pines Resort’s Inn & Club at Harbour Town has been named one of the top 12 hotels in the country for 2022 by U.S. News & World Report, a global authority in rankings and consumer advice.

It is the second consecutive year, and third time in four years, that The Inn & Club at Harbour Town has appeared in the publication’s “Best Hotels” rankings, which recognize properties for providing top-of-the-line amenities and hospitality for travelers. The Sea Pines Resort also was singled out in these prestigious rankings for a Gold badge, symbolic of hotels that scored in the top 10 percent of the overall rankings.

Rated as Hilton Head Island’s No. 1 luxury hotel and cited among the south’s top hotels by both Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast Traveler, The Inn & Club at Harbour Town features 60 beautifully appointed guest rooms. With attentive, personalized guest service and first-class amenities, the property provides the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment, according to John Munro, the resort’s Vice President of Hospitality, Sales and Marketing.

“We are wholly committed to creating an unforgettable experience for our guests,” Munro said. “On behalf of the resort and our dedicated staff at The Inn & Club at Harbour Town, we are humbled to receive this exceptionally high ranking from U.S. News & World Report and it only inspires us to keep improving and innovating.”

Munro noted that a series of lobby, guest room, and fitness room upgrades have recently been completed at the property. Now greeting guests as they enter the lobby are new white oak wood flooring, handwoven Axminster carpet from England, and furniture throughout. Room improvements include new smart televisions in all rooms that allow guests to stream content from their personal devices, use their devices as a remote, check on resort charges, and check out upon departure. A Peloton bike also has been added to the state-of-the-art amenities in the fitness room.

Spanning the southern third of Hilton Head Island, The Sea Pines Resort has been a family-centric and popular golf retreat for more than 50 years on an island that the readers of Travel + Leisure rank among the “top 15” in the Continental U.S. The island paradise on the South Carolina coastline encourages outdoor adventure and exploration on miles of beaches, biking, and walking trails.
