One of the travel agency’s VIP Cruises will combine yoga practice with a journey to Cuba.
“We’ve been posting a series of yoga videos on our GDV member portal. Members have been downloading the videos to take with them while on vacation so we decided to offer a special cruise that included yoga sessions guided by our very own in-house yogi, Elektra Henderson,” said Tom Lyons, President and CEO of GCI.
The 5-Day VIP Royal Caribbean Cruise departs Fort Lauderdale on May 4 and visits Key West before traveling on to Havana. Global Discovery Vacations members will not only have the opportunity to incorporate their yoga practice into a cruise vacation but will also enjoy a special tour of Havana along with other GDV perks.
Next year, among the numerous VIP cruises and experiences planned by the travel agency will be an Octoberfest Tour to Southern Germany. The small group is beginning to fill up and includes an exclusive tent for GDV Members at Oktoberfest in Munich. The group will also visit some exceptional auto museums including BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. They will enjoy a Cogwheel train ride and a scenic Rhine River Cruise.
On the heels for the 2019 Oktoberfest VIP Tour will be the 2020 Passion Play in Oberammergau. Produced only once in a decade, the event is already stirring interest among GDV members.
These and similar luxury experiences are a direct result of Global’s commitment to member engagement. The GCI travel agency recently began to offer Global Travel Webinars. The monthly educational seminars are gaining momentum and it was during one feedback session that the desire for unique and luxury travel opportunities surfaced.
