#LoveMyTimeshare Strengthens And Connects Community Of Timeshare Resort Owners

Resort Trades – the most widely read publication in the vacation ownership industry – supports ARDA’s #LoveMyTimeshare campaign

Resort Trades recently interviewed ARDA President & CEO Jason Gamel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJ9-FsnLzxo&t=55s). Most recently under his direction, ARDA has launched a newsletter for timeshare professionals.

“ARDA’s latest consumer initiative is ingenious,” says Sharon Wilson, publisher of the timeshare resort industry’s most widely distributed B2B media (the magazine is sent to every resort and resort professional each month; and the ePublication, Resort Trades Weekly, has a subscriber base of virtually every professional in the resort business). “We’re proud to support ARDA’s positive feedback campaign. The timeshare industry’s sole trade association – the American Resort Development Association, or ARDA – launched a consumer awareness campaign called #LoveMyTimeshare that encourages professionals in the resort business to ask timeshare owners/members to share their videos and blogs to LoveMyTimeshare.com.

“What better way to overpower misconceptions about the timeshare industry than by empowering more than 9 million satisfied owners to show the doubters what they’re missing? #LoveMyTimeshare is a vibrant movement fueled by personal experiences – thousands of stories, photos, videos celebrating the positive impact timeshare vacations have on real families,” according to ARDA’s LoveMyTimeshare site.

ARDA President & CEO Jason Gamel writes, “Unified as an industry, we aim to expand awareness and this month, the results kept growing.” [Here is a link to the fourth edition of ARDA’s member newsletter, “The Share.” https://tinyurl.com/ARDAShare]

The Trades’ team salutes the success of this effort and has pledged to publicize it as often as possible. The results so far have been encouraging, with thousands of likes and comments from satisfied timeshare owners. To learn how your resort can participate, get their easy-to-use kit:
