Global Connections Reveals Global Discovery Vacations Members Favorite Vacation Experiences

What do Global Discovery Vacations  (GDV) club members like to do on vacation?  Global Connections Inc. (GCI), a pioneer in the travel club industry, has revealed that relaxing on the beach is the number one priority for GDV members.

The inventory management team at GCI reports that the highest number of booking requests are for popular beach destinations in the U.S.  (Florida, California, Hawaii) as well as Mexico and the Caribbean. The data supports the fact that a beach vacation is hard to beat.

In second place is the desire for Health and Fitness activities in the outdoors such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and whitewater rafting.

A close third is the desire to cruise.  The glamour of taking to the seas and being pampered never grows old, especially when travelers can also experience exotic, educational and faraway lands from the comfort of a cruise ship.

Tom Lyons, President and CEO of GCI says that “our vacation options expand year by year.  The results from last year show members continue to take advantage of tried and true favorites, while adding in more adventuresome VIP Tours and experiences.”
