Global Connections, Inc. Launches “Coolest Customer” Contest

Just when Summer is heating up and thoughts turn to vacations and relaxing, travel industry leader Global Connections, Inc. (GCI), has launched a “Coolest Customer” contest.

Global Connections is giving Global Discovery Vacations (GDV) members a chance to win a remote control cooler.  The coolers are exactly the same as the ones popularly in use at various GDV sales offices for more than a year.  The cooler not only keeps 32 aluminum cans icy cold, but can also be used to hook-up blue tooth devices for all the music to make a party fun.  Plus, there is no reason to get up for that cold drink, thanks to the remote control.

Members may now submit an original two-minute video proving they are GCI’s Coolest Customer.  The contest is open to entries through September 30, 2016 with the lucky winner of the fun cooler being announced in October.

GCI regularly engages its members with contests, promoting them through newsletters and social media.  Some of the most popular contests have been “Shoot for the Stars” (a vacation photo contest) and “Bucket List,” where winners received dream vacations based on essays submitted online.  The Coolest Customer contest is yet another event that builds loyalty and excitement for Global members.

According to Tom Lyons, President and CEO of GCI “the goal of the contest is to engage our members while gathering great videos that can be shared on social media to show what our travel clubs do for travelers through our member’s first-hand experiences.”
