Global Connections Announces a “LOVE-ly” Contest for Global Discovery Vacations Members

Member engagement contests and social media participation are a great source of pride for Global Connections Inc. (GCI), a leader in the travel industry.  GCI offers the members of its Global Discovery Vacations (GDV) club program a wide variety of leisure benefits and vacation options at more than 700 North American resorts

The latest contest –Share the Love– is all about romance.

Entries of wedding photos, honeymoons or even less traditional romantic vacations are already appearing on GDV’s Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag #heartGDV.  The rules stipulate that the photos must be from a GDV cruise or condo vacation and be accompanied by a story or caption.  Entries must be posted by midnight on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2017.

One lucky winner will receive a Visa gift card and a snuggly pair of Global Connections heart socks.  The winning picture will be posted on the Global Travels Blog Friday, February 17.

According to Melanie Gring, Vice President/ Strategic Alliances and Public Relations, “The ‘Share the Love’ contest is another opportunity to both engage GDV members, and provide the company with authentic images to use in myriad ways. Our members love sharing their vacation experiences. GCI uses these authentic vacation shots and testimonials in our member materials, on the website, and in sales and marketing collateral.”
