Brand Tango, an award-winning branding, design and digital incubation agency, was named Best in Show in the local Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., competition of the American Advertising Awards, which were presented March 2. In addition, the South Florida firm took home three Gold and two Silver awards for work now eligible for recognition at the upcoming 4th district (Florida and the Caribbean) competition. A win there would position Brand Tango for national honors, which would be the fifth time the firm has been recognized on the national stage. The American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDYs, is the advertising industry’s largest competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year. The mission of the American Advertising Awards is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
The Best in Show award recognized a sales kit produced for Grupo Questro’s Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residences. This ultra-high-end project is located in the Pacific coast enclave of Puerto Los Cabos, Mexico, and residents, who hail from around the world and include Hollywood A-listers, have exclusive access to a world-class marina accommodating yachts up to 400 feet, private beach clubs, Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman signature golf courses, a private sculpture garden and a 12-acre cactus botanical park. Printed on watercolor paper, the luxuriously tactile pieces were carefully curated to evoke the heightened lifestyle these homeowners enjoy. The materials also won Gold in the Sales Kit or Product Information Sheets category, and Gold in both Sales & Marketing Brochure – Single Unit and Elements of Advertising – Copywriting categories.
Winning Silver Addys were the DAE Business Solutions Campaign in the Cross Platform, Integrated Advertising Campaigns B-to-B Campaign-National category and UVC’s Life Unlimited Magazine for Unlimited Vacation Club by AMResorts in the Print Advertising – Magazine Self-Promotion – Single Unit category.
