Wyndham Vacation Ownership Donates Shuttle Bus To Camp Boggy Creek

Recently, Wyndham Vacation Ownership (WVO) donated one of the company’s former shuttle buses to Camp Boggy Creek, a camp in Eustis, Fla. where children with serious illnesses and life-threatening conditions attend free of charge. This bus was previously used to transport WVO employees between corporate buildings and will now be used to help bring smiles to the faces of children enjoying their home away from home at the camp, part of Paul Newman’s SeriousFun Children’s Network.

As a long-time supporter of Camp Boggy Creek, WVO associates are also committed to SeriousFun Children’s Network through frequent volunteerism, in-kind donations and participation in annual fundraising activities.

About Camp Boggy Creek:

Camp Boggy Creek serves children ages 7 to 16 with illnesses including cancer, immune deficiency, severe asthma, sickle cell, spina bifida, epilepsy and several other disorders. Programs are offered year-round and families are never charged to participate. Operating Camp requires a devoted staff, about 2000 volunteers and an annual budget of almost $4 million funded by donations from individuals, corporations, foundations and healthcare partners.
