Wyndham Destinations Appoints Olivier Chavy as President of RCI Exchanges

Olivier Chavy has just been appointed President of RCI Exchanges by the world’s largest vacation ownership and exchange company, Wyndham Destinations. With over 30 years of international hospitality experience and many executive leadership positions across luxury hotel and resort operations, Chavy is welcomed to his new role with open arms.

In his new position, Chavy will lead the strategic direction, operation, and growth of the leading exchange company’s network and travel services. His responsibilities will include the company’s portfolio of brands like RCI, The Registry Collection, DAE, and Love Home Swap. RCI Exchanges serves around 3.8 million members and has over 4,300 affiliated vacation ownership resorts and is apart of the Wyndham Destinations brand.

Most recently, Chavy served as CEO of Movenpick Hotels & Resorts where he was able to grow the company’s portfolio more than 40% and revitalize the company by appointing millennial leaders to help guide their teams toward a progressive guest experience. This success follows his other impressive roles as President and CEO of international interior design firm Wilson Associates, a variety of executive positions at the Hilton brand, and General Manager for a number of luxury hotels around the globe.

Chavy earned his MBA from Cornell University, a post graduate diploma from Europe’s ESSEC Business School, and a BA in Hotel Management from St. Quentin en Yvelines Hotel Management School, France.
