Wildflower Farms, Auberge Resorts Collection, the nature-immersive retreat in New York’s Hudson Valley, has been named on two of the most prestigious award lists celebrating the best new hotels and resorts in the world. The property has been awarded on Travel + Leisure’s eighteenth annual ‘It List’ and AFAR’s esteemed ‘Stay List’ for 2023. Wildflower Farms, Auberge Resorts Collection opened in September 2022 as an environmentally conscious, design-forward retreat, where guests encounter nature through a back-to-the-land philosophy and unscripted luxury.
Determined by Travel + Leisure editors, the annual ‘It List’ is a result of months of research on hundreds of new and renovated properties from around the globe. Wildflower Farms, Auberge Resorts Collection is showcased in the May 2023 issue of Travel + Leisure and online at travelandleisure.com.
AFAR’s ‘Stay List’ honors new hotels that their editors believe embrace AFAR’s mission: to offer people deeper, richer, and more fulfilling travel experiences. This annual list is determined by AFAR editors and contributors, who personally visit and vet each property. Recognized as one of the 15 best new hotels in the world, Wildflower Farms, Auberge Resorts Collection is highlighted online at afar.com and in the publication’s Spring 2023 issue.

“Wildflower Farms is honored to be recognized by both Travel + Leisure and AFAR, two of the most trusted and respected resources for discerning travelers,” said Phillip Rapoport, owner of Wildflower Farms, Auberge Resorts Collection. “These accolades are a testament to our talented team, who deliver unparalleled service and meaningful, one-of-a-kind experiences that celebrate our beloved Hudson Valley every day.”
Overlooking the mighty Shawangunk Ridge on 140 acres, just 90 minutes from New York City, Wildflower Farms, Auberge Resorts Collection opened last fall as a verdant escape in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. The resort’s expansive grounds encompass orchards, woodlands, a namesake farm, heirloom gardens and fields of native wildflowers. Nestled within are 65 bespoke cabins, cottages and suites; Thistle, an Auberge Spa; Maplehouse farm education center and cooking school; a Natural Playground and exceptional dining destinations, including the resort’s signature restaurant Clay—all inspired by the region’s wild beauty.
Wildflower Farms joins two other Auberge Resorts Collection properties on the celebrated ‘It List’, Stanly Ranch, Auberge Resorts Collection in Napa, Calif. and Susurros del Corazón Auberge Resorts Collection in Punta de Mita.
