Vacation Resorts International Adds Family Destination Resort In Lake Lure, North Carolina, To Resort Portfolio

Vacation Resorts International (VRI), a provider of management and leisure services to vacation owners, has added the Mountain Loft near the Blue Ridge Mountains in Lake Lure, North Carolina, to its portfolio of managed resorts.

VRI delivers a range of services, including property maintenance; financial expertise in the areas of accounting, billing and collections; resort management utilizing its proprietary software; and owner rental and vacation exchange services.

“We’re delighted to partner with the homeowners’ association at Mountain Loft to enhance the owner and guest vacation experience,” said Steve White, VRI’s vice president of resort operations.

Each of the property’s 17 two-bedroom units has a loft floor plan and includes a full kitchen. The resort offers numerous on-site amenities, including tennis, golf, and water activities on beautiful Lake Lure or Bald Mountain Lake. Nearby attractions are the 8,000 acre Biltmore Estate that features the Biltmore House, the largest privately owned house in the U.S., and Connemara — the 246-acre rural estate of Pulitzer-prize winning writer Carl Sandburg. Visitors will also appreciate the spectacular views and hiking trails at Chimney Rock State Park and want to take the scenic journey along Blue Ridge Parkway, known as “America’s Favorite Drive.”

The town of Lake Lure sits in the heart of Hickory Nut Gorge and is located in western North Carolina, less than a one-hour drive from Asheville, one of the area’s most popular tourist destinations. Thousands of families visit Lake Lure each year to enjoy the 720 acres of crystal clear lakes, pristine beaches, and the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains.
