On Monday January 22, Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort***** was officially awarded the Green Key certificate. The distinction recognizes the resort’s commitment to the preservation of its environment over the past two decades. Present on five continents, the Green Key certificate is the leading standard for excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operations within the tourism industry.

Reviewed every four years, the distinction supports new and sustainable methods of operation and use of technology in a bid to reduce the overall environmental footprint through lower use of energy, water, and waste.
Under the supervision of the Foundation for Environmental Education internationally and Teragir in France, this initiative guarantees compliance with environmental standards for hotel establishments daily.
