“We are pleased to welcome Joy as a new independent director to the Target Hospitality board. Joy’s extensive knowledge throughout the hospitality industry will provide a valuable perspective to the board. Her addition will diversify our current board of director’s skills and experiences and we look forward to her contributions,” stated Brad Archer, President, and Chief Executive Officer.
Ms. Berry will serve for the duration of her time as director on the board’s compensation committee and nominating and corporate governance committee.
Ms. Berry joins the Target board of directors with over 35 years of real estate and hospitality experience. Joy served as the Chief Operating Officer at Luxe Collection, a curated community of 4- and 5-star luxury properties in prime destinations around the world. Prior to joining Luxe, Joy founded and led an investment fund focused on acquiring and developing hotel and resort properties. Joy spent a significant portion of her early career with Marriott International, Inc., where she served in a variety of progressive real estate and development roles.
“I am excited to join the Target Hospitality board of directors and put my experience to work for the growth of the company. I have developed many hotels from the ground up in my career, which is an expensive and slow process. I am proud to now be part of a team that utilizes technology, advanced construction methods, and speed-to-market systems for both housing and hospitality. Target Hospitality is a refreshing game-changer for the industry,” stated Joy Berry.
