Orlando-Florida-based staySky® Vacation Clubs is pleased to announce the promotion of Jack Chevrier to president of the membership-based vacation club. The promotion reflects the program’s game-changing business model and fast growth.
In his new role, Chevrier will oversee all elements of the business, including defining the organizational vision and strategy, further developing the sales and marketing infrastructure, and building strategic alliances to enhance member benefits.
Chevrier joined staySky Vacation Clubs in 2014 as vice president of Sales and Marketing. He was instrumental in the launch of the innovative vacation club. Under his direction, the program quickly gained traction, earning awards, superior ratings and the loyalty of its rapidly growing membership.
We are delighted to promote Jack to president of staySky Vacation Clubs,” said John Gordon, CEO of staySky and parent company, Club Trust. “He has played a pivotal role in creating the Club’s highly successful sales and marketing programs, building a cohesive leadership team and cementing a solid foundation for this new business. With his vision and industry expertise, Jack has demonstrated exceptional value to our company and a deep commitment to his colleagues and our exciting new brand.
Longtime Industry Leader
Chevrier brings to staySky Vacation Clubs a 25-year track record of success in the timeshare industry. His career profile includes impressive achievements in roles from the vice president and director levels up through chief operating officer. Throughout his career, he has provided strategic insight in solving business-critical issues, including organizational startup, business turnaround, sales infrastructure development and revenue enhancement. He also has directed multi-site sales operations throughout the United States, the Caribbean and international markets.
Chevrier began his career with Starwood Vacation Ownership in Orlando, Fla. Later, he gained a wealth of experience in all facets of the business while serving in senior executive positions with leading companies and start-ups. These include Shell Vacations Hospitality, Westgate Resorts and Sunterra, now part of Diamond Resorts International.
I am thrilled to lead the talented team at staySky Vacation Clubs, as it continues to reinvent the vacation membership model,” Chevrier says. “I couldn’t be prouder of all that they have accomplished. Although staySky has had a banner first year, the future looks even better. We look forward to adding dynamic new offerings that serve our members with a bold, new take on creating memories to last a lifetime.”
