SPI Software, the award-winning provider of the Orange Series management software for vacation ownership resorts and clubs today announced the release of an interface with TravelClick’s iHotelier® Central Reservation System. SPI’s iHotelier interface provides revenue potential and savings by extending a resort’s guest room inventory to travelers worldwide via travel websites such as Expedia, Orbitz, Trivago, Kayak, Hotwire, and many others.
SPI’s iHotelier interface integrates over 450 OTA (Online Travel Agency) and GDS ( Global Distribution System) connections throughout the world to maximize room demand by providing real-time access to a resort’s availability, rates, and inventory. Access is maintained through a single, central pool of available rooms that allows a resort to sell inventory to their last available unit, thereby optimizing rental revenue.
With the two-way interface, a resort can increase business through web-based bookings to a worldwide audience. All related iHotelier web-based booking information is automatically sent back to the SPI Orange Series Management System in real time.
“With SPI’s iHotelier interface, our resort clients will benefit from the global distribution of their room inventory,” says SPI CEO George Stemper. “We are pleased to provide our customer base with world-class tools for managing their online distribution.”
