Sena Hospitality Design Up for Award at ARDA World 2019

Sena Hospitality Design Inc., an Orlando-based licensed interior design firm specializing in resorts, is a finalist for an award from the American Resort Development Association at the group’s annual convention in Orlando April 7-11, 2019. Sena is being recognized for the renovation of the lobby area of The Resort on Cocoa Beach in Cocoa Beach, Florida, in the Refurbishment/HOA category, where the design firm took top honors in 2018.

Following the 2018 renovation, guests entering The Resort on Cocoa Beach have a sense of arrival as well as natural backdrop for those all-important “selfies.” Sena created a coastal, modern look true to the resort’s beachfront location with a blue and green color palette. Artwork throughout features local attractions such as space launches at Kennedy Center, the Cocoa Beach Pier and surfers in action. A new focal point is a water feature composed of three exquisite cast glass panels embossed with wave patterns, shells and starfish. Other features include an ADA-compliant check-in area and a cozy internet lounge with charging stations.

Recently, Sena began installation of a complete renovation of 72 units in the North Tower at Grand Seas Resort in Daytona Beach, Florida. The firm is handling the design, purchasing and installation.

In addition to the ARDA recognition, Sena again received the TopID award, from the Sunshine (Central Florida) chapter of the NEWH. This prestigious honor is determined by NEWH chapter and regional boards to recognize and promote the best in interior design.
