Resort Travel & Exchange (RTX) proudly participated in the 5th Festiva Charitable Fund Golf Tournament as ACE level sponsors at the Wachesaw Plantation East Golf Course in October.
Held in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, RTX has stepped up to the tee for the 2nd tournament in a row. Resort Travel & Xchange brought together a team of altruistic employees to donate their time and energy to contribute to the Festiva Charitable Fund. The exchange company’s sponsorship included a team of four employees participating in the actual golfing event on behalf of the company.
The golf tournament brought together the generosity of 26 teams and 104 players.
RTX employees volunteered to help throughout the tournament and raffled off prizes, including a week’s vacation to be used at one of the company’s vast network of travel partners.
Formed in 2006, Festiva Charitable Fund was founded in order to donate funds to support various organizations. The intent of the charity is to provide permanent charitable resources for the surrounding communities where its companies and employees are located. To date, the Festiva Charitable Fund has contributed to over 40 different organizations.
“RTX is proud to sponsor events like this that have such a wide-reaching positive impact. Knowing that our contribution is going directly to people who live in the areas where our members vacation makes us enjoy the networking and camaraderie aspects of the event even more,” said Justin Hunter, Vice President of Operations for Resort Travel & Xchange.
Resort Travel & Xchange’s ACE Sponsorship contributed to a grand total of $84,772.26. The donations will go toward several organizations and causes that benefit the areas where its employees live and work. The Fesitva Charitable Golf Tournament is only one of the many philanthropic efforts RTX sponsors to involve and encourage its employees to give back to local organizations.
RTX offers its members an industry leading vacation exchange platform that provides a variety of benefits and travel options such as low exchange fees, up to a four-year deposit window, reservation protection, and discounts on different travel options such as hotels, car rentals, air travel, restaurants and more. Additionally, the company also provides its partner resorts and management companies with customizable options and solutions, based on their needs and the needs of their customers.
