Resort Travel & Xchange (RTX) showcased their yearly growth and popular vacation exchange platform to attendees at the ARDA World and C.A.R.E. conferences this past Spring.
RTX is a timeshare and vacation ownership exchange company that provides variety, flexibility and affordable travel options to its members. RTX also offers customer-centric solutions for its partner resorts and management companies.
With three levels of membership to choose from, RTX members may exchange their timeshare ownership (fixed week, float week, or points), giving them access to a host of fresh and exciting new destinations. The company’s popular vacation exchange platform offers low exchange fees, up to a 4-year deposit window, and a world of perks that include hotel, air, car, getaways, restaurants, airport lounge membership, exclusive club publications, a VIP concierge line, and more.
RTX had several high ranking members of their company manning their booth at the recent American Resort Development Association’s ARDA World Convention, where attendees were able to ask questions about RTX’s successful exchange platform as well as see first hand the growth that the company has experienced steadily over the past years thanks to their commitment to excellence.
RTX witnessed record growth in 2015, finishing the year with timeshare exchanges up nearly 14 percent over exchanges booked in 2014. The global exchange provider also saw a 17.5 percent increase in active members to last year. Now approximately 80,000 exchange members strong, RTX is striving to achieve another record breaking year with exciting initiatives throughout 2016.
“This was our third year exhibiting at ARDA World and we feel that it has given us beneficial visibility among our peers and potential partners. We look forward to continuing to be an active part of ARDA’s conferences and other events,” said Justin Hunter, vice president of operations for RTX.
Additionally, RTX represented as a Sapphire Sponsor at the Spring Cooperative Association of Resort Exchangers (C.A.R.E.) conference which took place in its hometown of Asheville, NC. Although the company has sponsored the past four consecutive C.A.R.E. events, this was its first time co-hosting the Sponsorship Awards Ceremony, alongside Condowarehouse.com, which was called “A Magical Evening of Recognition.”
“With this C.A.R.E. conference held in Asheville, RTX was able to send four representatives to participate in the networking and education experiences provided by this event. Between the company’s sponsorship and the individual involvement of several team members, RTX truly shined at this conference,” said Corina Violette, director of resort partnerships for RTX.
The Sponsorship Awards Ceremony started off with a grand red carpet entrance after which attendees were treated to drinks and hors d’oeuvres while the conference’s sponsors were recognized.
RTX’s Corina Violette received the Richard Gallardo Award, presented to someone who has shown dedication to the C.A.R.E. organization as well as the industry. Once the awards were given, the ceremony ended with a performance by special guest, comedian and magician Bryan Saint.
During the C.A.R.E. Conference, RTX’s Sara Little spoke on a panel discussion regarding Corporate Social Responsibility where she highlighted some of the initiatives that RTX has created or sponsors, that enable employees to give back to their communities. Later that same day, Corina Violette was elected to the C.A.R.E. Board of Directors, and Justin Hunter gave an industry update on behalf of Canadian Resort Development Association (CRDA), as a representative of the board of directors.
