ResorTime Donates a Total of $10,000 to Benefit Four Local Causes Nominated by Guests

ResorTime, the rental arm of timeshare management company Grand Pacific Resorts, reports a meaningful year for their giving back program, beCause Destination Matters, donating a total of $10,000 in 2016 to four causes. By selecting nonprofit organizations through inspirational stories submitted by guests and asking their supporters to get out the vote, ResorTime made $2,500 donations to four nonprofit organizations throughout California.

“Our giving program, beCause Destination Matters, is special because it supports the causes that matter to our guests,” said Renee Wagner, Director of Creative Services at ResorTime. “It provides everyone an opportunity to give back at any level. You can submit a story, vote, share, or book a vacation.”

The program created an impressive impact of giving back efforts throughout California, awarding $2,500 to the following organizations that had the most votes each quarter: Charity Wings Art & Crafter Center of San Marcos, SummerAde of Marin County, Moving Forward Toward Independence of Napa, and High Five’s Foundation of Truckee.

“We’re extremely grateful for the donation. Being a nonprofit we operate on a small budget, this $2,500 donation helps send 15 kids to camp,” said Jordana Perman Director of Community Outreach & Strategy for SummerAde. “It provides training and resources to our mentors and gives us the ability to adequately serve our campers.”
