RCI Recognizes Grupo Vidanta With Gold Crown Distinction

World-class developer, owner, and operator of entertainment and destination resorts in Mexico, Grupo Vidanta received recognition for its Mayan Palace and The Grand Mayan hotels from RCI (Resort Condominium International) with the Gold Crown distinction, a top honor awarded to resort developers who continuously offer exceptional vacation experiences.

The RCI Gold Crown recognition encourages and rewards resorts who offer the highest quality experiences to guests. Guests can evaluate their experiences and give honest ratings through comment cards that are submitted during the checkout process. These cards survey guests about accommodations, maintenance, amenities and customer service, along with several other categories.

Additionally, Grupo Vidanta was awarded the Top Producer Recognition 2016 due to the remarkable work of its sales department in two categories: RCI Weeks, granted to sales teams that achieve the highest membership numbers in a year; and The Registry Collection which celebrates an exceptional performance in sales regarding their luxury product.

Moreover, RCI granted inpidual recognitions to outstanding members of the team: 13 Diamond Awards were given to administrative contacts at hotels; 21 Top Sellers Recognitions were awarded to the best salespersons of the year, and 8 Alpha Recognitions, a new award that was implemented this year for marketing teams, were given in recognition that marketing is the first link in the sales process of vacation properties.

“We feel very proud to be receiving these recognitions from RCI because they reflect the satisfaction of our guests after experiencing an exceptional vacation in our hotels. The Gold Crown award and each inpidual recognition commit us to continuing to offer the best and most innovative vacation experiences at our destinations. It is a pleasure for us to be a part of the Vidanta Family and to be able to work with such outstanding collaborators”, said Benny Michaud, Director of Hotel Operations at Grupo Vidanta.

The Grand Mayan and Mayan Palace hotels recognized by RCI this year are located at Vidanta Riviera Maya, one of Grupo Vidanta’s seven vacation destinations. The resort spans 1000 acres and is situated on the Yucatan Peninsula. These hotels are part of the extraordinary vacation offerings that, along with the incomparable services and hospitality Grupo Vidanta is famous for, make for a world-class resort. These are just the latest in the awards—both on a national and international level—that have been granted to Grupo Vidanta, further establishing its reputation as a paragon of excellence in the hotel and resort industry.
