Pocono TreeVentures Expands In 2016

Pocono TreeVentures aerial adventure ropes course in the Pocono Mountains is adding even more fun with two new children’s adventure courses for ages 4 – 7 and night climbing and zipping on Saturdays beginning June 18. Gina Bertucci, spokesperson for TreeVentures, said, “We have been growing each year since our opening with the addition last year of TruClimb tree based climbing walls. This year, we’re adding two new children’s courses and night climbing. We started climbing in the dark at our Hallowscream event last fall. It was so well received, we decided to add it this year throughout the summer on Saturday nights.” The new children’s area of the park will be called KidVentures with courses that use the same harnesses and hardware as the adult courses but are built closer to the ground with elements created just for children.

The aerial adventure parks contain courses made of platforms constructed at various levels in the trees connected by bridges that represent obstacles. Tickets are sold in two hour sessions where guests can repeat the same course or continue to increase the level of difficulty at their own pace. The expert course takes you over 30 feet in the trees and has extremely difficult features to challenge even the most experienced outdoor ropes enthusiast. Bertucci continues, “For children not yet ready to scale to such great heights, the new kids courses will make it possible for them to participate.” Along with the ropes course, the park also offers Pocono Zip Racer dual racing zip lines that give guests the feeling of flying through the air like a bird. Bertucci said, “With the addition of night zip lining you reach speeds of 45 miles per hour in the dark, which makes it feel even faster.”

Pocono TreeVentures is located on Route 209 in Bushkill, PA. Bertucci concludes, “We offer a stay and climb package in villas located within walking distance to the ropes course. After a few hours in the trees, you can relax at the pool, have a massage, eat at Wintergreens Patio Grill with lakeside dining, golf, horseback ride, canoe the Delaware, paintball, hike at Bushkill Falls, and try our Blue Lightning tubing park – the only all season tubing park in the Pocono Mountains. Now is the time for that much needed summer getaway.” For Pocono TreeVentures tickets and package reservations, go to PoconoTreeVentures.com where you can get additional aerial ropes course information and reserve your day session tickets or overnight stay. Pocono TreeVentures is open daily from 10:00 am to dusk throughout the summer.
