Pam Cordell Promoted to Vice President of New Business Development

Vacation interval resort management and development company, National Hospitality Group, is proud to announce the promotion of Pam Cordell, CAM, RRP to Vice President of New Business Development.

Cordell has been a voice in the timeshare industry since 2002 when she began as a guest service representative at Club Ocean Villas in Ocean City, Maryland which has been managed by Defender Resorts since 2000. She was quickly promoted to a Regional Director of Operations, overseeing resorts throughout Florida and the Caribbean until moving to Washington D.C. to become the Director of Member Services for the American Resort Development Association (ARDA). In 2016, she returned to Defender Resorts to oversee resorts in South Carolina, Florida, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina and Tennessee.

“Cordell is one of the most well-rounded, knowledgeable professionals in the industry and we know that she will shine as the new Vice President of Business Development,” said Bill Young, President of SPM Resorts. “Between her experience in operations and working with ARDA members Pam can tackle pretty much anything this industry could throw at her.”

New business operations will be based at National Hospitality Group’s corporate office in Myrtle Beach, where all subsidiary companies; SPM Resorts, Defender Resorts and Capital Resorts are located.

“I’ve always enjoyed meeting all the people that make up this industry so I’m excited for the opportunity to continue interacting with and helping out managers and boards that are looking to improve their resorts,” said Cordell.
