Our schools are staying in contact with students and families.

Schools closed for now, but the heart of Christel House remains open

As we recently noted in our 2019 Annual Report, Christel House is more than a school. We know that the closure of our schools is extraordinarily impactful on our communities due to the services we provide – from education and daily nutrition, to health care and social services. Nonetheless, COVID-19 has prompted the temporary closure of our schools around the globe. Our primary obligation is to protect our students’ health during this unprecedented global crisis. Christel House staff in India, Mexico, South Africa and the United States have created plans for staying in regular contact with students and families about their needs. Although our physical schools are closed, the heart of Christel House remains open. Together, we continue to transform the lives of students.
