New Pluie® Diaper Changing Tables Designed to Elevate Guest Experience

The world’s first and only self-sanitizing diaper changing tables for public restrooms can now be found at club and resort locations across the country, including Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, Ariz., Skokie Country Club in the Chicagoland area, The Bridgewater Club in Carmel, Ind., and the boutique Graduate Nashville and Graduate Minneapolis hotels. Pluie changing tables have been installed in more than 20 states as business leaders see the value of elevating the guest experience in public spaces.

Pluie’s changing tables are unlike anything else on the market and represent the first major innovation in product design since changing tables debuted in the 1980’s.

What Makes Pluie Changing Tables Different:

  • Patented UV-C light technology known to kill 99.9% of germs including influenza, coronavirus, and E. coli sanitizes the changing surface in just 60 seconds after each use
  • Pluie removes the need for harsh chemicals, therefore reducing chemical exposure to a child’s skin and saving on staff cleaning time and expense
  • Multi-purpose handles for hanging diaper bags and purses to keep them off the floor
  • A more comfortable, plush foam, leak-proof changing surface
  • Retractable safety strap that stores in a clean zone when not in use

The breakthrough design appeared on Shark Tank in March 2023 and was named a Fast Company 2021 World Changing Idea and TIME Magazine Best Invention.

The innovation answers the call from parents on the go looking for clean, safe places to change their baby’s diaper, especially in light of the pandemic.

“Pluie is on a mission to improve health, cleanliness, comfort, and convenience for all families on the go. The health and safety of our loved ones is always top of mind, but the pandemic made it even more so,” says Pluie Founder and CEO Addie Gundry. “Parents and caregivers taking their children out in public are looking for clean, safe ways to care for them, and we’re proud to help family-friendly destinations meet that need.”

In 2020 consumer research conducted by Pluie, 93 percent of parents said cleanliness of the changing table was overwhelmingly the top factor in their decision to use it or not.

“Installing Pluie in our clubhouse was a way to demonstrate our commitment to providing the best possible guest experience for members of all ages,” said Mike Gardner, General Manager of The Bridgewater Club. “Pluie represents health and cleanliness and reflects our desire to be welcoming to families. Plus, the sleek design nicely complements our clubhouse renovation.”

The Bridgewater Club’s renovation earned Clubhouse of the Year honors from Golf, Inc. magazine, was named a Top Ranked Clubhouse by Club & Resort Business, and was selected as a Distinguished Emerald Club of the World by BoardRoom Magazine.

Pluie tables can now be found in major facilities, including airports, stadiums, amusement parks, museums, health clinics, restaurants, and retail destinations in more than 20 states nationwide.
