New General Manager Announced for Club Wyndham Airlie Beach

Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific has today announced the appointment of Malik Hayat to the position of General Manager at the recently rebranded Club Wyndham Airlie Beach Whitsundays.

Perched on a hill overlooking the Whitsunday Passage, Club Wyndham Airlie Beach was acquired in December 2019 and is available to almost 60,000 owners in the region’s largest timeshare club, Club Wyndham South Pacific.

Mr Hayat joined Wyndham in 2016 in a Front Office Management role at Club Wyndham Sydney before being promoted to Resort Manager at Club Wyndham Coffs Harbour in 2019.

Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific’s Vice President of Resort Operations, Warren Cullum, said Mr. Hayat had proven his leadership abilities and passion for hospitality during his time at the helm of Club Wyndham Coffs Harbour.

“Malik is a passionate and results-driven leader who always strives to go the extra mile in order to build strong customer relationships and drive results,” Mr. Cullum said.

“During his time in Coffs Harbour, he made significant improvements to the resort’s performance and drove an increase in overall satisfaction scores year on year.

“Malik has been integral to building strong relationships between our sales, marketing and operation teams, and his passion for customer service is second to none. This proven track record makes him the perfect person to take responsibility for overseeing the day to day operations at Club Wyndham Airlie Beach.”

Boasting one, two and three-bedroom apartments, Club Wyndham Airlie Beach features an open-air restaurant and bar, infinity pool and spa, gym, conference facilities, and undercover parking, all within easy reach of Airlie Beach’s long list of popular attractions.
