Interval International Welcomes Three High-End Vacation Club Resorts In China To Its Global Exchange Network

Interval International, a leading global provider of vacation services and an operating business of ILG (Nasdaq: ILG), announced the addition to its global vacation exchange network of three High-End Vacation Club resorts in China. The multi-site club properties are situated in the country’s north-eastern and eastern regions, in the Beijing and Jiangsu provinces.

“We are very pleased to welcome Yin Wenhuan and his team to shared ownership with their latest venture — High-End Vacation Club,” said Darren Ettridge, Interval’s senior vice president of resort sales and business development for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. “One of the reasons this experienced developer, who owns and operates a dozen boutique hotels in key destinations throughout China, is entering the industry is his optimism about the future of the country’s travel and leisure market.”

“We took the decision to launch our club now as we believe that the flexibility of shared ownership holds great appeal for the growing number of consumers in the region who have the disposable income and the desire to travel,” said Yin, chairman of High-End Vacation Club. “We are proud to have created resorts that offer guests an oasis from today’s hectic urban lifestyle, yet provide the latest conveniences and personal service.”

Shanli Lohas Village Tourism Hotel is in Shanli Village, the “Long-life Village” surrounded by mountains about 55 miles northeast of Beijing. Each of the resort’s one-, two, and three-bedroom apartments has its own courtyard and is furnished in a rustic style that gives visitors the feeling of their own “home away from home.” Amenities and services include a swimming pool, restaurant, and mini-golf, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests also can enjoy the restorative power of Huangyankou Valley’s natural landscape and explore the countryside, where they may come across original sections of The Great
Wall.

High-End Vacation Club’s two other properties, Lili Waterside Houses and Zhenze Waterside Houses, are located just south of Suzhou (west of Shanghai) and are adjacent to one of the area’s countless canals. The towns of Lili and Zhenze are part of a collection of famous ancient hamlets in the region referred to as the “Venice of the East” for their many waterways, bridges, and classical gardens. Resort accommodations are in vintage buildings with upgraded interiors that have modern facilities.

Lili Waterside Houses has one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites, each in a different design that blends Eastern and Western elements. Zhenze Waterside Houses has spacious units that showcase the old Shanghai style with white walls, wood timbers, and picturesque garden views. The town is famous for being the birthplace of silk in China and visitors can observe the silk-making process.

“Accessible from Beijing, Shanghai, and Suzhou, these properties offer our members the opportunity to restore much-needed balance to their lives, while enjoying distinct, cultural experiences,” added Joe Hickman, Interval’s vice president and executive director of resort sales and service for Asia Pacific.
New owners who purchase at High-End Vacation Club will be enrolled as individual members of Interval International and will also become Interval Gold ® members, entitling them to a number of flexible exchange opportunities and upgraded benefits and services. These include Interval Options ® , the ability to exchange their resort week or points toward a cruise, hotel, tour, guided holiday, or unique Interval Experiences adventure; ShortStay Exchange ® ; Hertz Gold Plus Rewards ® membership, which gives them a bonus certificate for a free weekend car rental day; discounts on Getaways; special offers at hotels, restaurants, and retail outlets worldwide; and VIP Concierge SM for personal assistance, 24/7.
