Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services, announced the promotion of Ximena Villegas to director of resort sales and service for Mexico. Based in Cancun, she leads sales and business development initiatives and oversees the team that manages resort client relationships. Villegas continues to report to Marcos Agostini, Interval’s executive vice president of global sales and business development.
“I’m very proud to promote Ximena, who has played a significant role in our expansion in Mexico. During her nearly 10 years with the company, many of the country’s leading hospitality brands have joined the Interval vacation exchange network,” Agostini commented. “Her knowledge and experience will be of great benefit in furthering the company’s goals to increase market share and provide superior service.”
Villegas also manages strategic partnerships and speaks at industry conferences. She is active in the Mexican Resort Development Association (AMDETUR) and the Quintana Roo Vacation Club Association (ACLUVAQ). She holds a bachelor of business administration degree, with a specialty in finance, from the Universidad de las Americas – Puebla in Mexico.
