Interval International and Westgate Resorts Mark 25 Years With Long-Term Renewal Agreement

Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), and Westgate Resorts, known for its many experiential-themed destination resorts, today announced a long-term extension of their master affiliation. The agreement covers more than 20 properties around the country, including some of the largest timeshare resorts in the world, as well as future timeshare development.

“For the past 25 years, Westgate’s partnership with Interval has given our owners access to the highest quality resorts for exchanges and valuable added benefits that are an important component of customer satisfaction,” said David A. Siegel, founder, president, and CEO of Westgate Resorts. “We know that we can rely on Interval’s seasoned team of industry professionals to provide an extensive range of services and deliver on every commitment.”

“We congratulate David for the very successful business that he has created,” said Craig M. Nash, chairman, president, and CEO of Interval Leisure Group. “He has navigated through the most challenging economic times, expanded his company, and emerged stronger. We are pleased to continue our relationship.”

The Westgate portfolio of resorts encompasses properties in some of the most popular vacation destinations across the United States, including Orlando, Florida; Gatlinburg, Tennessee; Williamsburg, Virginia; and Park City, Utah, among others. In the past several years, Westgate has expanded its presence with the addition of the Cocoa Beach Pier, construction of a multi-million dollar Orlando-area water park, and the acquisition of three properties. One of the newest is Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, the former Las Vegas Hilton, which will include 300 new timeshare villas. The property features the world’s largest sports betting menu or SuperBook®, a range of culinary choices in its eight restaurants, entertainment in the International Theatre, and a fully renovated pool deck.

While diverse in location, each Westgate resort has luxurious villa accommodations, an extensive family-oriented activities program, and a selection of guest services. The resorts also have a variety of world-class amenities, such as award-winning restaurants, full-service spas, and even water parks.

New purchasers at Westgate Resorts will be enrolled as individual members of Interval International and will also become Interval Gold® members, entitling them to a number of flexible exchange opportunities and upgraded benefits and services. These include Interval Options®, the ability to exchange their resort week toward a cruise, tour, golf, or spa vacation; ShortStay Exchange®; Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® membership, with which they may earn bonus points for up to two free weekend rental days; discounts on Getaway vacation rentals; special offers at hotels, restaurants, and retail outlets worldwide; and VIP ConciergeSM for personal assistance, 24/7.
