(ICE) announced today that it has acquired specific assets from Lateral, Inc., a global technology company, including key personnel and intellectual property related to artificial intelligence in travel and mobile software development.
With this acquisition, ICE adds deep industry expertise to its platform development that complements the company’s core discipline of innovative travel and leisure technology. The additional team will facilitate the faster delivery of new products, features and functionality while introducing speed and efficiencies. The acquisition will also accelerate the development of international solutions, mobile and AI-based technology as part of its offering to its customers. In connection with this relationship, Ciprian Morar, Lateral’s Founder and CEO, will take on a new role of Chief Design & Technology Officer at ICE.
