Iberostar Receives 24 Customer Satisfaction-Based Awards in the Caribbean and Mexico

A Total of 24 Iberostar Hotel & Resorts in Mexico, Jamaica and Dominican Republic were Recognized for their Excellent Service and Guest Satisfaction

Miami, November 27, 2018. – Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, the recognized Spanish hotel chain with a portfolio of more than 120 four-and five-star hotels in 18 countries, has been awarded some of the most coveted customer satisfaction-based awards in the travel industry for 24 of its properties. Delta Vacations and Apple Vacations have recognized the brand’s hotels in Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, which welcomes more than eight million guests yearly at its hotels around the world, is part of the Iberostar Group, a Majorca-based, family-owned company with more than 60 years of experience in the tourism sector.

The awards bestowed to Iberostar Hotels & Resorts include:

Delta Vacations – Quality Assurance Award

Delta Vacations honored Iberostar Hotels & Resorts with nine Quality Assurance Awards in recognition of outstanding quality, customer experience and product delivery to its customers. Each year, Delta Vacations honors qualifying hotels, destination management companies and rental car agencies across the globe. This year, Iberostar Hotels & Resorts was among an elite group of 251 hotels, 22 destination management companies and four car rental companies that earned the award designation. The award is bestowed to companies that achieve 99 percent of customer satisfaction and 99 percent product performance.

In Mexico, the award was given to the Iberostar Grand Paraíso, Iberostar Paraíso Maya, Iberostar Paraíso Lindo, Iberostar Paraíso Beach, Iberostar Quetzal, Iberostar Cancún and Iberostar Cozumel. In Dominican Republic to the Iberostar Grand Bávaro and in Jamaica to the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall.

Apple Vacations – Crystal Apple and Golden Apple Awards

Apple Vacations awarded the Crystal Apple Award in the category of Best All-Inclusive Resort in 2018 to the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The Crystal Apple Award is Apple Vacation’s most prestigious category which represents people’s choice, as the result of answers to a Vacation Satisfaction Questionnaire by Apple Vacationers.

The company also bestowed the Golden Apple Award to 14 Iberostar properties in Mexico, Jamaica and Dominican Republic for their excellent customer ratings, a reflection of the brand’s exceptional standard of quality, service and value. The Golden Apple Award is given to hotels that have earned exceptional ratings on Vacation Satisfaction Questionnaires completed by Apple Vacationers upon their return home.

In Mexico, the Iberostar properties that received the Golden Apple Award were: Iberostar Cancún, Iberostar Cozumel, Iberostar Grand Paraíso, Iberostar Paraíso del Mar, Iberostar Paraíso Lindo, Iberostar Paraíso Maya, Iberostar Tucán and Iberostar Playa Mita. The award was also given to the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall, Iberostar Rose Hall Suites and Iberostar Rose Hall Beach, in Montego Bay, Jamaica as well as the Iberostar Grand Bávaro, Iberostar Bávaro and the Iberostar Punta Cana, in Dominican Republic.
