Since Hyatt Ka’anapali Beach, a Hyatt Residence Club Resort, opened its doors in December 2014, it has been celebrated for its stunning design and for showcasing Hawaii’s unique cultural heritage in its interiors and amenities. Now, the recognition continues with the selection of the property’s sales video and website as finalists in the 2016 ARDY awards to be presented by the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) in May.
“The beauty of Hyatt Ka’anapali Beach has inspired our creative team to produce these visually compelling pieces, which capture the essence of the amazing vacation experience at our Maui resort,” said John Burlingame, president of Hyatt Vacation Ownership, which operates Hyatt Residence Club.
The Maui.HyattResidenceClub.com microsite, a finalist in the Website: Large Developer category, highlights the authentic and distinct Hyatt service through the eyes and ears of club members and resort staff associates. The site’s striking images and videos also portray the destination activities most unique to Maui, in a user-friendly format.
The “Meet the Family” video, a finalist in the Video Production: Sales Film category, features owners and staff at the resort sharing their personal, family-focused experiences. In addition, the unscripted film, which is also viewable on the microsite, includes dramatic footage of the oceanfront and mountain views, oversized private lanais, and exquisite units.
Last year, Hyatt Ka’anapali Beach received the prestigious ARDA Circle of Excellence Domestic Project of Excellence award, along with top honors in two Resort Design categories: best site plan and resort architecture, and was a finalist in two others.
The 131-unit property is located on one of Maui’s most sought-after beaches and has spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom residential-style accommodations. Hyatt Ka’anapali Beach is a joint venture with an affiliate of Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc.
The American Resort Development Association will present its 2016 ARDY awards at the ARDA World 2016 Annual Convention & Expo, May 1 through 5, at the Diplomat Golf Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Florida.
