How to Have That Difficult Conversation

Free course – “Fierce Conversations”…. Learn how to handle tough situations. Online event scheduled for September 11, 2020, 1:00 p.m. ET

Reservations are now being accepted at ResortTrades.com/LearningCenter for the September 11 online event, the Trades Lunch Bunch. During this week’s session, you will learn some solutions for handling sticky conversations…the kind that can create uncomfortable emotions on both sides.

The complimentary, 30-minute interactive session begins at 1:00 p.m. ET on September 11, 2020, and will be followed with a half-hour of Q&A. The speaker will be Debra Crombie whose credentials include experience as the former VP Talent Development for Bluegreen Vacations. Crombie is President of Sterling Training Group and received her “Fierce Conversations” certification in 2010.

Drawing from Susan Scott’s record-breaking bestseller, Fierce Conversations, Crombie’s presentation will focus on some of the finer points taught by the sixth principle of “The Seven Principles of Fierce Conversations©.” – “Take responsibility for your emotional wake.”

The Seven Principles of Fierce Conversations:

  • Principle 1:    Master the courage to interrogate reality.
  • Principle 2:    Come out from behind yourself, into the conversation and make it real.
  • Principle 3:    Be here, prepared to be nowhere else.
  • Principle 4:    Tackle your toughest challenge today.
  • Principle 5:    Obey your instincts.
  • Principle 6:    Take responsibility for your emotional wake.
  • Principle 7:    Let silence do the heavy lifting.
