Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resorts Announces Resort Leadership Promotions and Additions

Orange Lake Resorts, home to the Holiday Inn Club Vacations® brand, is proud to announce exciting leadership promotions and additions at five of its Holiday Inn Club Vacations resorts.

Jorge Cruz-Quinones was promoted to General Manager at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Williamsburg Resort in Williamsburg, VA. Cruz-Quinones joined Orange Lake Resorts as a Senior Security Manager in 2011 for Holiday Inn Club Vacations Desert Club Resort in Las Vegas, NV. He was promoted to Resort Operations Manager in 2014. Prior to joining Orange Lake Resorts, he held various leadership roles with Hilton Grand Vacations and served for six years as Operational Sergeant in the U.S. Army including three deployments.

Gary Ross has moved to General Manager at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Orlando Breeze Resort in Orlando, FL. He has been with Orange Lake Resorts for 14 years, most recently as General Manager of Holiday Inn Club Vacations Sunset Cove Resort in Marco Island, FL. Ross has also held roles as director with the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Signature Collection, Resort Manager on Duty, and began his hospitality career with the company in Sales & Marketing.

Cathie Hayward has been promoted to General Manager at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Hill Country Resort in Canyon Lake, TX. Hayward is a seasoned, 25-year hospitality veteran, joining Silverleaf Resorts – now Orange Lake Resorts – 10 years ago from Divi Resorts in St. Croix, VI. She has held numerous leadership roles including hotel General Manager and recently was the company’s Regional Director of Profit Centers for franchise food and beverage, golf, water parks, and marina operations across four locations.

Neal McDonald has taken over the General Manager role at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Sunset Cove Resort in Marco Island, FL. McDonald has provided outstanding leadership in resort activities, guest relations and support services for 12 years at Orange Lake Resorts. Most recently, he was General Manager at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Cape Canaveral Beach Resort. He played a key role in helping launch the company’s sustainability programs and received ARDA’s prestigious 2013 ACE Spirit of Hospitality Award.

Joseph Pokorski has been named the General Manager of Holiday Inn Club Vacations Holiday Hills Resort in Branson, MO. Most recently, he served as an Assistant Resort Manager for Wyndham Vacation Ownership. An ARDA LEAPS participant, Pokorski’s hospitality experience includes positions with Holland America Line as a cruise director and staff officer. Pokorski is also an accomplished actor, having performed in hundreds of stage productions of The Phantom of the Opera.
