Grupo Vidanta Inaugurate Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica 2017

Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta will kick off October’s Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica 2017 with a series of exclusive events and activities for guests and visitors, August 14-16th.

This year, Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta will offer two gourmet workshops: the first will showcase Chef Aaron Mizrahi cooking different types of USDA-certified meats paired with three types of beer and three types of tequila, and the second workshop will feature Chef Elias Sapién Jr. presenting on special dietary considerations, such as kosher, vegan, alkaline, and celiac diets, from a theoretical context to a demonstration of successful recipes.

In addition to these exclusive workshops, the three days of special activities at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta will include two premium tastings for the most demanding palates. The first will have L.A. Cetto Wines’ sommelier delighting taste buds with three of the most significant labels of the Mexican brand: Don Julio Merlot, Don Luis Viognier, and Nebbiolo. Master Sommelier Yamir Pelegrino will also present a second tasting with three excellent Spanish wines, including Rosado Alma de Tobia FB, the first rosé wine fermented in barrel.

Finally, on August 15th, famed Spanish Chef, Paco Roncero, who boasts two Michelin Stars and three Repsol “Soles”, will participate in a tasting gala themed “Spain and Mexico, the most exclusive culinary fusion.” Hosting this incredible culinary experience will be Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta’s executive chef, Gerardo Iriarte, in collaboration with invited chefs Bricio Domínguez from El Jardín de los Milagros in Guanajuato, Betty Vázquez from Garza Canela at San Blas and judge of Master Chef México, Marco Valpia from Emiliano at Tepic, Elías Sapién Jr. from Elías Sapién Catering at Puerto Vallarta, and Aaron Mizrahi, grill master and chef ambassador for Creekstone Farms in the United States.

Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica 2017 will take place from October 29th to November 1st –celebrating four days of gathering and learning from chefs, sommeliers, and speakers – and will also open with the first golf tournament of the Festival Gastronómico Vallarta 2017, on the new 18-hole Greg Norman golf course, also at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta.
