Grand Pacific Resorts Sponsors Fundraiser with Give Back Tahoe
Resort management company Grand Pacific Resorts partnered with three of its managed resort properties in the Lake Tahoe area to sponsor fundraising efforts for the SNOW Sports Museum during the Give Back Tahoe Campaign hosted by the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation, together raising over $14,000 dollars. Grand Pacific Resorts offered an $800 match challenge along with prize drawings for contributors that included a stay at its managed property and an online sports tutorial membership from Stomp Sessions.
The SNOW Sports Museum is dedicated to preserving and displaying the rich history of the Olympic Valley area, the legacy of the 1960 Winter Olympic Games that took place there, and the ongoing evolution of the world of snow sports. An architecturally inspiring building will house exhibits and experiences that highlight the pioneering spirit of the Sierra Nevada region. The museum’s next objectives include recording stories from the past, developing a historical learning program for children, archiving memorabilia, launching an internship program, and curating an online collection.
Grand Pacific Resorts has a long-standing presence in the Lake Tahoe area. It manages Olympic Village Inn and Red Wolf Lodge at Squaw Valley, both nestled in the mountains next to a world-class ski resort. It also manages Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge, and most recently, Tahoe Sands Resort, located in North Lake Tahoe. Each resort offers spectacular views, convenient access to the sites and activities of the region, and a home-away-from-home type of comfort that Owners, Guests, and Exchangers alike love.
