Grand Colorado on Peak 8 (GC8) awarded ACE Project of Excellence 2020 – the top award in the industry!
Breckenridge Grand Vacations’ newest development, Grand Colorado on Peak 8 (GC8) has been recognized with the highly coveted ACE Project of Excellence Award from the America Resort Development Association (ARDA). “This award recognizes a timeshare or mixed-use resort which is considered the best of the best in the world for that year.” ARDA’s Circle of Excellence (ACE) division represents the highest level of distinction within the resort industry. Judges for the ACE awards are not employed within the resort development industry.
“We feel so fortunate to have our property recognized with this high honor,” said Breckenridge Grand Vacations Developer and CEO, Mike Dudick. “It gives us a tremendous feeling of accomplishment to know that we’re helping to set the bar for superior quality across the entire hospitality industry. A resort such as the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 takes incredible vision and hard work, from acquiring the land all the way through strategy and execution. While the bricks and sticks are very impressive, in the end, though, this award is really about our employees. It is our incredible team who curates and delivers unparalleled vacation experiences, with the sole purpose of putting smiles on the faces of every guest at our resorts.”
Locally-owned and operated in Breckenridge since 1984, Breckenridge Grand Vacations is the parent company for Gold Point Resort, Grand Timber Lodge, the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 and the newest property – the Grand Colorado on Peak 8. The Grand Colorado on Peak 8 reflects the culmination of decades of resort development experience. This property features more amenities than any other Breckenridge Grand Vacations’ resort and well-appointed residences with an unprecedented mountain modern decor. Both Grand Timber Lodge and Grand Lodge on Peak 7 are proud past recipients of the ACE Project of Excellence Award giving Breckenridge Grand Vacations 3 properties who have won this prestigious title. “We continue to learn from one development to the next, what families desire most while on vacation. We are passionate about our constant pursuit of evolving and perfecting the vacation experience through thoughtful amenity packages and lodging that makes people feel like they truly are at their second home in the mountains,” says Dudick.
According to Joe McGriff, owner of Joe McGriff Consulting, “GC8, as it’s referred to by locals, is one of the most innovative masterpieces you will ever come across. It boasts fresh design and thoughtful, high- quality construction, nestled in the exact heart of the Breckenridge Ski Resort, right at the center of the Peak 8 base area. As a consultant of higher standards and execution, what I normally witness is
this: good intentions, poor execution. What I have witnessed at Breckenridge Grand Vacations in recent years is the exact opposite – good intentions, outstanding execution. The Grand Colorado on Peak 8 meets or exceeds the stringent standards established by the acclaimed Green Globe Certification Program and the results don’t lie. They have created and sustained a culture that breeds success, a product in GC8 which is unparalleled, with goodwill and an excellent reputation that deserves to be recognized at the highest levels of achievement in the vacation ownership industry.”

About Breckenridge Grand Vacations
Created in 1984, Breckenridge Grand Vacations (BGV) was built by brothers Mike and Rob Millisor and friend Mike Dudick upon the belief that the success of their company would be determined by the positive impact it had on their owners and guests, employees and the community. The developers of the company also embraced the concept that BGV would be the best in sales if they were first and foremost the best in customer service. The company has embraced the Net Promoter methodology company-wide and consistently beats industry averages with its high scores. BGV now creates Grand vacations for over 25,000 owners and employs over 600 staff members.
