Global Discovery Vacations Honors Breast Cancer Survivors with Exclusive Cruise

Breast Cancer Survivors will have an outstanding opportunity to celebrate their recovery with a 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise in October. Travel industry leader Global Connections, Inc. (GCI), a travel club fulfillment and service provider, will have exceptional rates on the Royal Caribbean Cruise departing from Ft. Lauderdale and cruising the warm waters of the Caribbean.

Ports of Call on the Allure of the Seas VIP Cruise for Breast Cancer Survivors and their family and friends include Labadee, Haiti, Falmouth, Jamaica and Cozumel, Mexico.  Recipient of the Reader’s Choice Best Overall Cruise Ship award for two years running, the ship offers seven distinct neighborhoods and experiences ranging from Zip Lining to the Tony Award® winning Chicago.

“Those who have battled breast cancer deserve some relaxation and an atmosphere free from stress and worry,” said Tom Lyons, President and CEO of Global Connections. “That’s what any cruise is all about, and this one in particular. We chose the month of October as it is Breast Cancer Awareness month and gives our members plenty of time to plan ahead for this special event.”

“And looking into the future, our travel agency has come up with some other terrific specialty itineraries that are getting great response from our members.”

A few of the other VIP cruises scheduled for 2016 and available to Global Discovery Vacations’ members include a Brew Cruise with Brew Lab (on board the Celebrity Summit and departing from San Juan, PR in November), and Pirates of the Caribbean Cruise with Walters Dance Group (7 nights aboard the Royal Princess department from Fort Lauderdale in October). Next year’s schedule includes a 5-Day Eastern Caribbean Getaway with musical idols of the 50s and 60s and a 7-Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise featuring The Elton John Experience with Bill Connors.
