Global Connections, Inc. (GCI) a well-known travel club fulfillment and service provider recently launched MyGCITravel.com. The website offers the general public the ability to book their vacation experiences online. In addition to its core business as the travel club fulfillment and service provider of Global Discovery Vacations (GDV), GCI develops and manages resorts and vacation condominium properties, as well as operating a full-service travel agency. Members of GDV will continue to receive preferred savings on the travel benefits now posted on the GDV member website.
Tom Lyons, President and CEO of the 20-year-old company said, “MyGCITravel.com is a wonderful addition to our array of vacation services.”
“Previously,” Lyons continues, “We provided these opportunities through our high-end concierge style travel agents via phone. Over the years, we’ve come to understand that most people like to book their vacations online at any time, so the creation of this website, which is mobile friendly, is a step up in the world of technology and travel.”
Lyons adds that travelers can still call or email for special assistance and advice in planning their vacation.
Currently MyGCITravel.com is displaying more than 100,000 vacation weeks in over 2,000 resorts, as well as specialty cruises and travel packages called “Hotlines.” Hotlines are always changing and usually include airfare and accommodations at prime vacation destinations such as Hawaii, the Caribbean and Orlando. Two of the more popular categories on the website are “Romance” destinations and themed cruises.
