Global Connections’ Launches “A Place for Everyone” Employee Intranet Includes Global Perks Plus

Travel industry leader Global Connections, Inc. (GCI), a travel club fulfillment and service provider, announced that it has launched its proprietary employee intranet called “A Place for Everyone.”   The intranet site allows employees to access many of the features developed for GCI’s white-label product, Global Perks Plus (GPP).  The elements available on Global Perks Plus—and now the newly created employee intranet— offers employees the opportunity to access vacation and leisure benefits such as cruises, camping trips, resort condominium accommodations and shop for merchandise at discounted prices online.

According to Michelle Washburn, Director/ Human Resources, “The employee intranet site houses pertinent news and events from GCI’s Human Resources department, handy quick links to the things employees use most, access to forms and documents and the ability to create individual employee profile pages.”

“We are particularly excited to automate one of GCI’s most popular employee benefits.  Giving team members the chance to use company resources to book travel and purchase a broad spectrum of leisure benefits from household products to apparel is a most highly regarded company opportunity,” continued Washburn.

GCI’s 20-year experience in the travel industry paved the way to create a platform that allows companies in all industries to offer many of GCI’s travel-related benefits to their team members and/or customers.  Companies who use Global Perks Plus may select the specific benefits that interest them and have GCI provide the data; or interested companies may use Global Perks Plus ‘off-the-shelf’ by simply having GCI add their logo.
