(GCI), has announced that Sea Shells Beach Club (Daytona Beach, FL) and White Oak Lodge and Resort (Gatlinburg, TN) have received TripAdvisor’s® Certificate of Excellence. This is the fifth year in a row that these two GCI owned properties have received this honor, qualifying them as members of the TripAdvisor ® Hall of Fame.
Now in its eighth year, the achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience. Resorts which have received the highly coveted award for five years in a row are inducted into the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame.

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and timeliness of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
