Global Connections, Inc. Participates in Red Nose Day FUN-Raiser

Travel industry leader Global Connections, Inc. (GCI), selected Red Nose Day as its Monthly Fundraiser and reports that it raised nearly $1000 for the international event.

Both the Overland Park, Kansas corporate office and the Orlando, Florida based office hosted carnivals to raise money for children in need.  The highlight of these events was the chance to “pie” CEO and President Tom Lyons or dunk Director of Sales and Marketing Steven Grecco for donations.  Global team members were also able to virtually “pie” or dunk other GCI executive for donations.

The “FUN-raiser” both increases awareness of kids who are in need around the world and raises money to help lift those children out of poverty.   The international annual Red Nose Day event has raised over $1 billion globally in the last quarter century through individual and corporate donations.

“Every month Global Connections chooses a charity to support through its Committee of Awesomeness social responsibility program,” said Tom Lyons.  “Since we are a fun-loving group here at Global, participating in Red Nose Day was a terrific opportunity to act a little silly and contribute to this excellent cause. Over the past few months, Global has raised funds for numerous philanthropic causes including the SPCA and Clean the World.
