Four Finalist Awards Honored by Global Connections

Global Connections, Inc. (GCI) a well-known travel club fulfillment and service provider has been selected as a Finalist in four categories in the ARDA Awards program sponsored by the American Resort Development Association.

GCI won finalist honors for Logo Design (GCI 20th Anniversary), Employee Newsletter/Electronic Format (Global Observer) and two of its Social Media Campaigns:  The Brackets Challenge and Shoot for the Stars.

According to Melanie Gring, Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Public Relations for GCI “We are thrilled to see our name included in these highly competitive fields.  The honor goes primarily to our excellent in-house design and social media teams whose work reflects their passion and that of our Global Discovery Vacations club members.”

The ARDA Awards Program is committed to recognizing the best nominees submitted in categories that include overall professional excellence, outstanding accomplishment in sales and marketing, product design and advertising. The ARDY winners will be announced at ARDA World 2017 in New Orleans in March.  The national trade association representing the vacation ownership and resort development industries promotes the growth of the shared ownership industry in a variety of ways.  Each year independent judges review hundreds of entries to select top contributors and accomplishments.

Now in its 20th year of operation, GCI employs over 150 professionals at its corporate office in Overland Park, KS and three member fulfillment and property management offices in Clearwater, FL, Orlando, FL and Myrtle Beach, SC.  Global Connections’ travel club Global Discovery Vacations is marketed and sold through independent sales distributorships located in cities across the United States.   GCI has been an active member of ARDA for 17 years.
