Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences announced the affiliation of two properties to The Registry Collection, the world’s largest luxury exchange program and part of the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands (NYSE: WYN).
The Falkensteiner resorts offer two very different holiday experiences, however, both focus on delivering a luxury holiday lifestyle.
The Senia Apartments in Croatia are ideally located directly by the sea, and in the heart of the Punta Skala resort, with breathtaking views of the islands. The apartments feature modern architecture with a Mediterranean feel and fresh, airy interiors.
The edel:weiss apartments in Austria are set in the picturesque alpine mountains of Katschberg – the perfect year-round destination, with 70 kilometers of slopes providing a ski-in ski-out experience for guests in winter and 200 kilometers of marked trails for walking and hiking in the summer, as well as various other sporting activities. As a testament to their quality, the apartments have also won the World Travel Award 2015, having been recognized as Austria’s ‘Leading Serviced Apartments.’
In addition to luxurious accommodation, guests also have access to the services of adjacent hotels in both locations. The five-star Hotel and Spa Iadera in Croatia and four-star Superior Hotel Cristallo in Austria both feature excellent spa facilities and multiple cuisine options.
“We were looking to increase the range of services we offer to the owners of our Residences, while making ‘Premium Living by Falkensteiner’ more attractive to prospective buyers of our whole ownership properties,” said Robert Hermandinger, managing director, FMTG Development GmbH. “We believe the best way to achieve this is to offer our owners the additional benefit of being able to holiday at other luxury resorts across the globe through our affiliation with The Registry Collection.”
This affiliation is advantageous to both current and future owners at the two Falkensteiner developments. In addition to the ability to exchange into other luxury resort properties, members also receive a host of other benefits associated with The Registry Collection, which are designed to provide the ultimate lifestyle experience.
Dimitris Manikis, vice president of Business Development, RCI Europe/Middle East/Africa, said: “These two new full-ownership affiliations highlight the quality and diversity of Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences, and are wonderful examples of the superior class of accommodation available to members of The Registry Collection. We are delighted to have embarked on this relationship and to have the potential to expand it, bringing further Falkensteiner mixed-use resort product into our program in the future.”
“Joining The Registry Collection is a great way to showcase our properties to potential purchasers and gives us a competitive edge in the leisure real estate market,” added Hermandinger. “It will allow international guests, for whom Falkensteiner might have been an unknown name, to discover and enjoy the Falkensteiner brand experience. We look forward to welcoming members of The Registry Collection at both of these resorts.”
