Executive Promotions Announced by Global Connections, Inc.

Global Connections, Inc. (GCI), the well-known travel club fulfillment and service provider of Global Discovery Vacations (GDV), has announced recent changes to its executive team. 

Kevin Cover recently joined GCI as Vice President of Sales, bringing years of  experience in direct sales operations.  His initial focus will be on the design and implementation of lead generation social media marketing programs designed to provide tours to GCI’s network of independent sales distributors of Global Discovery Vacations. 

Chad Lyons, an integral part of the GCI technology team for over 14 years, is now Vice President of Information Technology.  Chad will oversee and support the information technology strategy, design, selection and implementation of information systems for GCI and its various products and services.

Michelle Zimmerman was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources.  She has been with GCI for 16 years and in the role of Director of Human Resources for the last six years.  During her tenure, Michelle built an HR team and implemented benefits, policies, and procedures for the employees of GCI.   

Rounding out the GCI executive team are Dave Dawson, Vice President Resort Acquisitions and Development; Melanie Gring, Chief Strategic Alliances and Brand Officer; Rick Washburn, Chief Financial Officer; Cathy Wunder, Chief Operating Officer; and Frank Zawojski, Chief Information Officer.
