Diamond Resorts’ The Point at Poipu Ready to Share Hawaiian Culture After Renovations

After a nearly five-year renovation project, The Point at Poipu, a Diamond Resorts International® property, is ready to reveal its new intricate design, upgrades and enhancements that will greet vacationers in Kauai, Hawaii with a true Aloha Spirit.

“Hawaii is one of the top destinations in the Diamond Resorts International® portfolio and we are pleased to once again welcome all members, owners and guests to The Point at Poipu,” said Michael Flaskey, Chief Executive Officer for Diamond Resorts International®. “We believe they will be delighted with the careful detail taken during the needed renovations and discover an unforgettable setting for family vacations.”

After completing the final touches, work is wrapping up and members, owners and guests can now fully immerse themselves in Kauai’s culture with impeccable details highlighted throughout the resort. Perched perfectly overlooking the polished sands of Shipwreck Beach, The Point at Poipu offers 219 spacious, fully equipped accommodations ideal for families or a romantic retreat on 22 acres, just steps from the sapphire water. A colorful custom underwater scenic chandelier lights the lobby, and structural enhancements, fresh coats of exterior paint and new windows give vacationers breathtaking beach views. Amenities include the on-site fitness center, as well as the luscious green gardens and atriums. The Point at Poipu once again shines as a family friendly resort ready to provide unforgettable memories.

A final blessing of the resort is scheduled for June 7, 2017, where team members will celebrate the grand re-opening with a traditional Hawaiian ceremony and gathering.
