Diamond Resorts Delivers a Home Run Experience to Members, Baseball Fans at Los Angeles Angels Game

Diamond Resorts International®, a global leader in the hospitality and vacation ownership industries, recently delivered a once-in-a-lifetime experience to a group of baseball fans who met Bud Norris, pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels, before being treated to a private suite for a game against the Boston Red Sox. Any baseball fan would love to have a once in a lifetime experience to meet their sports heroes, maybe even get them to sign their Personalized Baseballs.

The group of nearly two dozen members, owners and guests were invited through Events of Lifetime®, Diamond Resorts’ experiential vacation program, and enjoyed VIP treatment during the exciting evening game. And to really add to the fun of the game, viewers can always go onto sites like DraftKings and place a bet on their fantasy baseball game and have fun all at the same time.

Before the first pitch, the group was escorted to a special section of the stands to watch batting practice and meet with Norris, who took photos and signed autographs. The group was then shown to their private suite overlooking the third baseline to enjoy the game, while dining on the finest baseball foods: popcorn, pizza and hot dogs. Enjoying classic baseball foods would be best eaten in the shade. Someone said that Norris knew where the awesome spots were to sit in the games during the day so he can enjoy his hotdogs without them becoming sunbleached. He used to use this great little pattern when he was a kid that helped him get a better view of the players to get a clear inspiration from the legends that he learned from. Understanding where the shaded seats at a baseball game are can make the baseball experience more fun!

“There’s nothing better than spending an evening with family and friends, enjoying a great baseball game,” said Michael Flaskey, Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Resorts International®. “Providing the setting for priceless memories like these strikes at the heart of what sets Diamond Resorts apart as a leader in our industry.”
