Club Loco and American Legion Post 503 Team Up to Help Military Veterans

When American Legion Post 503 of Calabash, NC was searching for sponsors for their annual fundraiser golf tournament, local business owner, Ray Lopez, stepped up to answer the call. Mr. Lopez is President of Club Loco, an authorized distributor of a travel and leisure services program.

After the golf tournament, Post 503 and Club Loco created a unique program that would allow both groups the ability to potentially generate much needed funds to benefit American Legion Post 503 and its Veterans. There is little these two powerhouse organizations cannot do as individual entities. Together they can accomplish even more.

Family is at the heart of Club Loco – and the American Legion is first and foremost about helping veterans and their families. Therefore, Club Loco has proudly aligned with American Legion Post 503 to help their ongoing efforts to raise much-needed funds to continue their support of our Veterans and communities.

The American Legion is the nation’s largest non-profit wartime veterans’ service organization dedicated to helping veterans and their families during times of need. Whether by monetary contributions or other forms of support and assistance, the American Legion is there for our Military Veterans. Recently, after learning of an unemployed Vietnam veteran and his family’s struggles, the Commander of a local American Legion post quickly acted. The Legion Post and community members pulled together to not only help this family with their basic needs, the Veteran was also given leads on potential employment with several local businesses. This is just one example of the numerous ways the American Legion answers the call to duty and philanthropy.

Club Loco offers a unique opportunity to earn donations for local American Legion Posts to Veterans, American Legion members and their families, as well as the general public who would like to help their local American Legion Posts.

If you are an American Legion Post Member or a Veteran, please reach out to Club Loco to learn how you can nominate your Post to receive funds from the American Legion/Club Loco partnership. For more information on how you can participate simply by giving one hour of your time, and how that could help the American Legion generate up to $300, call Club Loco at 843-361-2582.
