Christel House International Welcomes Olivier Chavy to Board of Directors

Christel House International (CHI) is pleased to welcome Olivier Chavy to its Board of Directors. He joins a dedicated group of professionals which guides the strategies of learning centers in Mexico, South Africa, India and the United States.

Mr. Chavy is President, RCI Exchanges. RCI Exchanges is the global leader in vacation exchange, serving approximately 3.8 million members and more than 4,300 affiliated vacation ownership resorts.

Prior to joining RCI, Mr. Chavy served as CEO of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts. He has over 30 years of international hospitality experience and executive leadership roles spanning luxury hotel and timeshare resort operations to global interior design.

A native of France, Chavy earned an MBA from Cornell University, a post-graduate diploma from Europe’s prestigious ESSEC Business School, and a BA in Hotel Management from St. Quentin en Yvelines Hotel Management School, France. He serves on numerous advisory boards including the French Foreign Trade Advisory Board — CCEF, The University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management, and Philip Stein Teslar, “Live in Tune.”

Christel House continues to grow. An eighth school, Christel House Jamaica is scheduled to open in August 2020.

An eighth school, Christel House Jamaica will open in 2020. Christel House students maintain a 99% graduation exam pass rate, and a majority of its graduates go on to pursue higher education. They become productive citizens, and many secure employment with top multinational corporations.
