Founded by James McClendon in 1980, Casablanca Express (CBE) began as a Los Angeles tour company specializing in weekend bus tours to Las Vegas. By 1987, CBE grew to a fleet of over 50 buses and was well known as the best tour company in the Los Angeles area. In order to make use of the buses during the week, CBE began selling discounted vouchers
 for mid-week Las Vegas tours. CBE sold these vacation certificates to nearly every type of local business from furniture stores to fast food chains. Businesses found that these new and exciting vacation certificates helped create successful and effective promotions with their high perceived value and low cost.

In 1985, CBE found its products were the perfect gift for vacation ownership prospects. CBE focused exclusively on growing sales to the resort industry by providing great service to both resort clients and travelers. By the early 90’s, CBE replaced bus transportation with round trip air transportation allowing clients all over the country to provide vacation ownership prospects with airfare vacations to the nation’s top destinations including Las Vegas and Orlando. With these new airfare premiums offering nationwide appeal, CBE was catapulted to the top of the resort premium industry where it has remained for over 20 years. CBE is the only travel premium company to be honored with the prestigious ARDY award for marketing vendor.
